Hester Fleming Vintage
Vintage · 1930s–40s · Czech Satin Glass Bead Necklace
A substantial strand of early Czech satin glass beads, dating to the 1930s–40s. Known for their soft glow and depth of colour, satin glass beads from this period were produced in limited quantities and are increasingly difficult to source.
The saturated red-orange tones and elongated bead shapes give this necklace weight and presence, the kind of piece that holds its own without needing styling tricks.
This is not a lightweight decorative strand. The scale, finish, and craftsmanship place it firmly in collectible territory, designed to be worn as a single statement rather than layered away. The detailed clasp and excellent condition further distinguish it from later reproductions and modern beadwork.
