A beautifully made crystal spray brooch by Trifari, dating to the 1950s and signed Trifari PAT PEND. 

On a Trifari piece, PAT PEND usually dates it to a very specific mid-century window (late 1940s–1950s), when Trifari was actively developing and protecting new construction techniques and design forms.

Set with sparkling Austrian crystals in a mix of navettes, baguettes, and rhinestones, all finished in cool rhodium plating, this brooch feels polished and enduring. Elegant rather than ornate, it works just as naturally on evening tailoring as it does worn simply on a coat or knit.

Chosen for its craftsmanship, proportion, and quiet confidence, this is a classic example of Trifari’s mid-century design — intended to be worn and enjoyed, not kept for best.
