Free from material restrictions that hindered designers during much of the 1940s, colourful, joyful jewellery designs appeared everywhere in the 1950s! Women's clothes were also tailored to accomodate the addition of jewellery. Fake was chic and women were expected to own a variety of pieces. Here are a few stunners from the HFV 1950s edit.
